    Probably a mix-up with the surveyor. The mortgage provider probably thought he'd done a valuation too and possibly chased him, then realised it still needed doing. Does sound like more than one crossed wire!

    As for the mortgage offer, mine was finally through on 11 April and completed on 22nd (11 weeks from offer to completion). Various delays with one thing or another. Stressful times! Glad that's all over!
