There is a similar website to freelancer called peopleperhour which is the same sort of thing. You can offer your services in exchange for money, and money can be put into escrow account so you don't get scammed. I am sure there are probably some sort of data entry jobs available online but someone above said they are most likely scams and I don't know much about them sorry. But have you thought about launching your own online business? You could make a lot of money if you get it right but then it is not necessarily easy to launch a successful business. If you come up with a good idea you might even become a millionaire lol. Even just writing a blog with a decent readership could bring in a bit of money through advertising and you could consider this for something on the side if you decide to go down another route.0

Im currently suffering from panic attacks / anxiety & agraphobia, ive been off work since around october 2012, i currently receive ESA & my partner is on statutory maternity pay, we get no help with rent etc so as you can imagine money is tight.
With the things im suffering from its impossible for me to return to work any time soon, weve already cut costs as much as possible.
ive made this pretty long winded, my question is, does anyone know of any "work from home jobs" or ways to earn money from home etc.
any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cam...
Sorry you're dealing with all of that. Been there. At the time, I partially supported myself by working online. I mostly blogged for individuals and small businesses. I found work on a site called Digital Point forums; the Content Creation section. It still exists but it's gone downhill in my opinion.
You could try another forum WAHM forums. They have a professions section that you might find useful: http://www.wahm.com/forum/professions-14/.
Good luck and you take care...

Hi camerong87,
I forgot to mention on my list about Fiverr.com. They are a freelancing site which has grown at an incredible rate over the past three years and a place for both buyers and sellers to advertise and look for tasks for $5.
If you're good at any of the following then, you could earn a few quid. All you need is a profile and a paypal account.
>> Article/Blog Writing
>> Web Design
>> Wordpress Blogs
>> Building Squidoo Lenses
>> Banner/Headers
>> Videos
>> FB Likes
>> Twitter Followers

any one know the best place to search for data entry jobs or similar for working from home? me and my partner are doing a bit selling on ebay but by no means is this an income...
thanks in advance and thanks for the replies so far0 -
I'm sure BT offer work from home customer service positions (in fact you qualify for free phone adsl and tv) I'll try and dig out the link and update for you. Another resource you can try is fiverr where you can offer data entry etc, but up against the Asian market pricewise you may struggle.0

I use People Per Hour and get a lot of SEO/webdesign jobs through here...there are tons of copy writing and data entry jobs and anything you can think of lol some weird ones on here too...basically people list what they're looking for and you write a short proposal (its like bidding for the job) to try and win the job...if you get picked you win the bid. You say how much you charge but People Per Hour (PPH) do take a fee when you get paid so I get round this by charging £5 extra on my jobs to pay the fee.
Have a look at the guides here to explain: http://support.peopleperhour.com/categories/20084212-Help
There are a lot of people that charge literally nothing and it can be hard competing with them but after a while you will build up good feedback and people are willing to pay for you.
I spend an evening or two and bid on as many jobs as I can...few tips I have found along the way...
- sort the jobs in your search by ones that are ending soon, this way you don't have to wait for ages to see if you have won the job or now, some can be 30 days otherwise.
- make each proposal unique to the job, have a base rough one and edit it to be for the job you are bidding on. They won't read it is it's not unique for their job.
- be open to working on things you haven't before! There's so many jobs on there that you might realise you will be good at!
DM me if you need any advice but I can definately recommend this as it is a very popular site.
Also build an hourly to offer your services on PPH too.
Good luck!
