You should still e-mail them details of your call. Most call centre phones are recorded, so if you know the date/time they can listen to it and, if the operator spoke to you inappropriately, take action.

Just to add to other comments here, I've never had anything but good service from Hotter. Would hate a rogue call centre operator to do their reputation harm.

You should also e-mail a complaint about the courier to Hotter. As above, the contract is between Hotter and the courier. Companies want to know if the couriers they are using are performing poorly as they'll review who they use periodically.

Hi I'm Mel Killilea the PR Manager at Hotter. I'm sorry that you have been upset and I would be more than happy to look into this for you. Please email your details to weloveshoes@hotter.com . I can assure you that we aim to deliver excellent customer service and I would like to restore your faith in our company and make sure your shoes have been delivered so you can enjoy them.
Mel, you'll probably want to email the forum team to ask for permission to post on behalf of Hotter. It's in the forum rules because we've had some previous problems with people pretending to be from a company being discussed but whom turned out to be from a rival firm.

Glad it's turned out well - and nice of Hotter to show an interest here. As others have said, if you're unhappy with the phone call or the delivery service (and why wouldn't you be?) take them up on their offer of follow-up - it looks as if they want to get to the bottom of the problem.
Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!

It's like a game of hide and seek; once you got to the other house did you sense you were getting Hotter?
