IKEA Customer Services...Please Help!

2 months ago I purchased a component sofa from Ikea Wembley.
· After a frustrating wait of 45 minutes for our goods to be brought the delivery area, we loaded the 5 boxes and were on our way
· We are in the process of moving, so did not get a chance to open the sofa until 2/3 weeks. It was at this time that we noticed that the corner section of the sofa was missing. Although we had the correct box for the corner section, it contained an odd assortment of cushions, some of which do not even belong to this range. I sent them detailed photos of the contents of the box.
· I called customer services and informed them straight away. They said they would look into it and call me back. They did not….
· After several more frustrating calls, I was told that they send me a new corner unit. I stayed at home and on the given date and nothing turned up.
· I called and was given another delivery date….nothing turned up…By this time, I was getting really fed up.
· I then received a call from a woman with a rather ‘matter of fact’ tone saying that they had reviewed the CCTV footage and seen that I had loaded 5 boxes and that because I had signed for it, they would not be replacing it!!! I tried to explain to her that I lack x-ray vision and so was somewhat reliant upon Ikea to ensure that boxes are correctly packed, but she was not having it and told me that the matter was closed. She stopped short of calling me a liar.
To my mind, they are saying that I signed for and received what I paid for and that I am now attempting to fraudulently obtain a corner unit…Where do I stand in this regard and what can I do to make this large corporation sit up and listen to my complaint?
