Just another question before I close, does anyone know the formula that is used to calculate how many minutes parking should be allowed at each site.Local retail park 4 stores = 1hr20min ,1 store on it's own = 1hr30mins....most odd!

    Yes, I have the formula.
    (a) Free car park. Am I Making a mint from the current charges? If Yes, go to (end) if No, go to (b)

    (b) Reduce waiting time by 30 minutes. If waiting time is > 0, go to (a) otherwise go to (c)

    (c) Introduce Pay and Display machines and ensure drivers have complicated way to get a valid ticket including entering Reg no. Make sure that machines break down frequently and that the phone number isn't staffed. Go to (end)

(end) Enjoy holidays in Bahamas at punters' expense while retailers take the flak.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I had a parking charge from parking eye a couple of weeks ago.
I used their online appeals form and wrote....."please supply me with photographic proof of the car windscreen that a ticket for the time and event ion question was or was not purchased. Not just a picture of car entering and leaving the car park, which proves nothing" Also I would like a complete breakdown of your charges.
I also added May I draw your attention to the last paragraph on your parking charge it states " We would like to remind you that,if you were the driver at the time of the parking event you are required to pay or appeal the parking charge" I would like to inform you that I was NOT the driver at the time of the event............Two days later I got an email stating that the parking charge was dropped. Yay
