Clean break question

I am currently going through an amicable divorce where we have agreed a clean break consent order and neither of us will have any recall on the others savings or pensions even after death.
My question is, as we are still good friends we may want to leave something for the other in a will - are allowed to do this or would the consent order prevent it? Thanks

As I understand, a consent order will remove any automatic or legal entitlement to money/possessions etc between the two of you.
However, you can leave your money in a will to whomsoever you choose, so I wouldn't have thought they'd be a problem.0 -
^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Correct.
Clean Break Financial Consent Order determines the division of the marital assets and prevents access to each other's future windfalls/gains.
A will could be invoked through death in 1 year/10 years/30 years, so what is contained in it has no relevance to the Financial Consent Order.0
