Can you get help with the cost of double glazing??

I'm a single mum working part-time and receiving working and child tax credits. I am in my own home (mortgaged) and would like to replace the double glazing as what I currently have is approx 15 years old and not efficient at all!! Does anyone know if the government gives grants or any help with the cost of replacing it?
Thankyou

15yrs isn't really old for double glazing! I would hope to get many more years than that out of new double glazing.

You say yours isn't efficient, but perhaps if you can say what the problem is, folk can perhaps offer suggestions/remedies. For instance, if there is condensation or vapour between panes then it is only the faulty glazing panel that needs to be replaced, not the whole of the window.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I think you can get help with DG on the governments Green deal scheme.
