QVC delivery problem

Hi, last week I bought a xbox from QVC. I kept a eye on the delivery tracking as I work nights so am not always up to answer the door in the day. On the day it was due to arrive I left a note on the door asking the driver to take it a few doors up to a family members, unfortunately they also had to nip out so missed it. When I got up there was a delivery card stating that my parcel (which did required a signature!) had been left in my shed. I don't have a shed, but do have a old unsecure storage box, so I thought they meant there. I have checked in that box, and all around my garden but can not find this parcel anywhere! I don't live in the best of areas and there have been quite a lot of break in and robberies around the area lately. :( I am very annoyed that I paid almost £10 for delivery on a very high value item and they couldn't even make sure I received it. I have emailed QVC, and they have sent ma a email back asking me to print there letter off stating I haven't received my item, sign it and then post it back to them?! I have emailed them back as I don't have access to a printer.
Sorry for the long post. Can anyone give me any advice on where I stand with this? and what I should do next? Id like to get it sotered asap as it was a birthday present for my daughter, and her birthday is soon.

Does the family member have a shed?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

Yes they do but there would be no way for the driver to get to it, as he would have to get through 2 locked doors, and a locked shed. The tracking also says it was delivered to my address.

What library is this? Mine charged me 10p per page and it was by far the worst quality print I'd seen in a very long time!

Do any of the close neighbours have a shed or any knowledge of this parcel? You don't have to let on to them what it is or what value if you'd rather not. Just thinking the driver might have left it at the wrong house.

Just called my local library, they have a printer I can use, 25p a sheet though. Glad I only need the one!
I think they had the right house as there delivery card had been posted through my letter box.
Going to get the form printed off today and send that off.
  • Rather than email why dont you call them up as it would be up to them to contact the delivery person to find out exactly where it was left, doing it by email is going to drag the issue on over days when it could be sorted out quickly.
