I have a number of .mp3 files on my Windows XP Personal Computer.
My friend has an Apple MAC laptop (software probably version 10 ?).
In the past we have exchanged files as email attachments, but now I have a number of .mp3 files that could be useful to my friend.
Rather than fiddle about choosing the individual files on my PC could I just copy them all onto a USB "memory stick" (flash drive), hand it over and let my friend sort out what is worth keeping on the lap top?

Yes you can. Though emailing them would be somewhat quicker, since you've still got to 'choose' them for either method of transfer. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Choosing then would mean opening each one to check exactly what it contained then discussing its suitability with the recipient.
Presumably it would be advisable to click and drop each file into the memory stick rather than simply copy the whole Windows folder into the memory stick ?
I would have to send several emails as there is a limit on attachment size for the free web mail(s) I use. (I think)0 -
Copy the folder if you want to send all the files in it, and to keep everything organised. It's just files and folders.
The only problem here is that you shouldn't really be doing it if the MP3s are copyrighted...0
