Our dealings with the CSA was in the mid to late 90's, and their attitude and "customer service" stunk! I have always been in customer facing employment, and as someone said, if I spoke to customers like the CSA staff did, I'd have been out the door sharp quick!! It sounds from the posts, that nothing has changed in all these years!! :mad:0

LOL I've had to deal with the - OK I will be polite...CSA staff since 1996- 2012 touchwood. I gave up and handed correspondence over to my MP but unfortunately had to speak with case officers on occasions. I lost my rag once after explaining the situation numerous times in the same phone call which must have lasted 55 mins, say, which did not include the 10 mins pressing the options and going through the stupid security questions ( BTW recently ,say, 2011, you cannot even get through to a designated person without going through security...I did say please put me through to such a body -details given through MP... and I will go through security with them...didn't happen. Ok I digress...has anyone been asked for their full bank account number? I have. That is really scraping the barrel but it must have been my tone of voice)
Anyway I lost my rag and said have you not listened to anything I have told you. You appear to not understand anything I have explained to you over and over again. The it got to don't speak to me in that manner, so I told her she was a stupid, f*****cow. Hung up on me :rotfl: so I just phoned again and spoke to someone else who was more reasonable.
However after years of crap I don't feel guilty at all. it felt rather good actually.:A0 -
Hi sensemayasWhen I got the phone call originally the bloke said they were going after my ex for just over £10k in arrears and I'd get more details in the post, then I received a letter saying it would be £17:11p p/w for next 12 months but I never received anything else from them so yesterday I phoned asking for more details and exact amount owed etc so that's when the snotty woman said they'd made a mistake in telling me the £10k was arrears for my daughter that it was actually the total amount he owed in arrears for all 4 of his kids (so I now know he hasn't been paying for the rest either, suspected he hadn't but surely she shouldn't have told me hmmm) so all my daughter and I will receive is £2.5k.0

Another update:Had yet another phone call today from csa, (amazing heard nothing for years now loads of contact) arrears repayment rate is being reduced again because apparently £17 is too much for him! It's now down to £10:22 a week. Csa said he'd been in contact with and they'd come to an agreement with them where he will "try to make the lower payments". I asked about a DoE but she said they're waiting to see if he keeps to what he promised. Don't know why I bother <<shakes head>>0

18 months later and I have still not seen a penny. He did give his job up. He was spotted by a relative working in a supermarket in November so I phoned the csa once again to tell them. They have got back to me today to say he's agreed to pay the arrears at (wait for it....... ) £13-01 a month. And guess what? He's threatening to quit his own again. A waste of space. At this rate it will be 16 years till the arrears are paid. My daughter will be 37 years old. I said can't they take him to court? And they said not as long as he keeps agreeing to pay. But he never does pay!!!0
