B&Q Help

Hi, hope someone can give me some advice.
I'm in the process of re-doing my garden, and decided on what I wanted from B&Q.
I bought 10 bags of black polished pebbles, 2 planters & 2 artificial plants for the planters. I knew 10 bags of pebbles wasn't enough, but it was all the local store had, but I did ask if they would be getting more in & was told yes, and given a date 10 days hence.
I went in the day after, and no pebbles. This went on for a 4 weeks, and eventually they got a new delivery.
It was wet when I picked the 5 bags up, so I went home & put them in the planter.
The following day I was so disappointed to see that they weren't the same as the others at all, they were smaller, grey & unpolished, and seemed like a different type of stone.
I e-mailed B&Q, who have, after a few conversations, come back to me & said they've spoken with the manufacturers who have told them that it's the same product & "all they can do is apologise & offer me a £30 payment as a gesture of goodwill".
I complained again saying that £30 wasn't even enough to cover the cost of the 5 bags, never mind the 10 bags I'd already bought, which were now of no use to me if they couldn't supply me another 5 bags to match them.
I said to them that, at the very least, they should refund me for all 15 bags of pebbles, which they are welcome to collect, to allow me to buy an alternative product, but they have stuck to their guns, even although they confirmed, by looking at the photographs I sent them, that the product is completely different & bears no resemblence to the original product.
I don't have enough money to replace these, and it looks really, really terrible at the moment.
I know it might seem like a small thing, but I just don't think it's fair.
Thanks

Have you tried other branches of b&q to see if they have any old stock? try local builders merchants, they may have the same type and size in stock to match yours.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

You could take all the pebble off and mix them up. That way you will have two-tone pebbles.0
