Where to get a replacement Bosch ceramic hob?

One ring has become stuck 'on' so I think a new replacement is a better bet than any kind of repair.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of replacement Bosch hobs, with a good product locator tool on it's website so I can be sure of ordering the correct compatible hob to fit the existing range?

A quick Google did reveal some suppliers quoting around the £220 mark and a pic showing my hob
e.g.

but absolutely no detail on product or dimensions so not planning on ordering online from here.

I think you need to take the old one out, or see if you can see the underside of it in place to see if it has a model number on it . Then you can google it to find its dimensions and go from there.

I have no idea how to non destructively remove this, it probably involves sliding the oven out, and I planned to get a fitter for that part, later. I have the handbook with some model numbers on it but it must all be out of date as no sensible google results against these.

Interesting, I grabbed 4 corners firmly with fingertips and tugged... plucked the entire unit out and had it in my hands. Serial numbers all on underside and not what I had thought based on my invoice!
Off to Bosch website. Impressive that all parts are apparently orderable. But pricey e.g. £80 for the largest element. Control Unit about £130.
Next conundrum: Which part needs fixing if the element just stays ON?

Presumably the control switch or relay for that element? It's not the element itself, as that powers up.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
