I went in my local Poundworld this morning(Huddersfield) and bought myself 2 dryer balls.I have kept looking in Poundland but after reading on here that they would not be getting anymore in store I stopped looking. In Poundworld they had a large pile of them but I don't expect them to be there long.

My dear old mum has been keeping an eye out for these so we can both get some.
I'll have to let her know.
    Thanks!

    ...rather than the balls.

Sorry - what are dryer balls for then? I'm assuming you put them in your dryer and then what do they do - prevent creases or something?

Yes, like all useful balls should do icon10.gif

Sid - they supposedly cut down on drying time, and make your washing softer without having to add those expensive dryer sheets. They certainly do the latter for me ;)

Dryer balls go in your tumble dryer with wet clothes and soften your clothes,so no need for conditioner, and your clothes will dry 25% quicker saving electric.
