Closing RBS account.

I'm wanting to close my RBS account but they are a little unclear as to how you go about it. Does anyone know the address I should write to to request this?

Their online chat isn't too helpful so I'm sure someone around here would know :)

Go into branch with your card... if you can't write to your account holding branch.. this will be forwarded to the service centre... make sure you have a zero balance as you won't get a cheque or if it is over drawn you won't be allowed to close it. your signature is enough to give permission for them to close. branch is immediately, post will take weeks

You would get a cheque if there was a balance in it. Your request wouldn't simply be ignored.
