Griffon Forest at Flaxton or try Hoseasons lodges0

Griffon Forest at Flaxton = avoid at all costs. I spent a long weekend there, the hot tub water was not checked throughout our stay at all and, a couple of days after returning home, I developed a very nasty rash which my GP said was likely to be as a result of the contamination of the water in the hot tub.
It wasn't only the hot tub though, the whole place was grimy, black mould in the showers, lumpy bed, sorry but I would not recommend.
Just wanted to add .... since our stay at Griffon Forest, never again will we stay somewhere that is not ETB rated.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
No recommendations but you could try Keldy or Cropton forests through Forest Holidays:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

York/Yorkshire is not the hot tub capital of the world. There is plenty to see and do without that sort of thing if you don't mind the cold.0

Thankyou for all the suggestions I am going to look into them now::)0
