NPower had Gas Meter changed & Now its not on the database!

Just to say thanks for taking the time to post & I have been in contact with 'Adam' at NPower & thought perhaps I would get somewhere

Just to add insult to injury I have now been informed by the "we can't give a you a bill yet!" team that they have introduced a standing charge since may (I think) Of which we knew nothing! (Since we don't get bills!)
and that this has cost my son in the region of £50 even though his gas use is low & would only have been £1 or so of gas (Yes he is a very low gas user!)I am even more fuming :mad: and am looking to change his supplier as the standing charge is riduculous for a 'low user' which is obviously what they intended.

Can't rant anymore have got to get off to look for alternative supplier for low use household. Thanks for nothing NPower :mad: :mad:
Oh well coming up to 12 months its got to be record worthy I wonder if Guiness would be interested.

I am also a very low user of Gas. I've changed to Ebico. See Post #205, #206 and #207 where I explained why (as I reflected on this 'whole mess').

I haven't had the time to read through your links in any detail but thankyou for taking the time to post

I have now complained to the ombudsman (More work!) but hopefully some closure eventually

I think I will look to switch to Ebico as my son is a very low gas user like you & seems they do 'score well' with users.

I Thank you heartily for your posts, I have had some mischief maker/troll activity on another thread & it is the last thing anyone needs when up against it (so to speak) and i now am building up my weary self to fill in forms for the ombudsman.
