Parking in London, visiting Waterloo - need advice

Hello all,

I'm going London on Thursday visiting Waterloo. I'm have no choice but to drive down there from West Midlands (taking M40).

> Where can I park, should I visit after 6pm (when congestion charge is over)
or
> Shall I visit earlier, get around the congestion charge zone and park on the side street, taking public transport into Waterloo.

I plan to get to Waterloo around 6-7pm.

it also depends on how long you are planning to be there. If you are there for the evening and expect to be away before 7am the next morning I woud drive all the way in as this is least hassle option. There are car parking spaces in the station (http://www.airport-parking-quote.co.uk/waterloo-eurostar/index.htm) and there are a few off road places - look at https://www.park-up.com - you have 5 free searches. BTW waterloo post code is SE1 8SW
