Nooks and ebook rental from libraries

Has anyone got any knowledge or experience of renting ebooks from a library using a nook, just read a review and it says that you need a sim card? Anyone know about this?

    I download ebooks from my local library onto an android tablet.
    Don't know if it's the same for you but I need an Adobe ID and Bluefire reader installed for it to work

    Hi,

    the Nook doesn't take a sim, it connects via Wifi.
