I was thinking of buy a Panasonic Smart tv.When i read about it they said i needed a Panasonic dongle.I have a Virgin wireless router that connects to my lap top.As my knowledge of these things is very very limited any advice would be appreciated.

The lg smart tv is better as it has built in wireless and no need for a dongle.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

Samsung also have a good selection of SMART TVs with WiFi built-in
If you do decide to go down the Panasonic route, you could use a nano-router as a money saving alternative e.g. something like this (which is the one I got and works great with my Panasonic TV, only took two minutes to set-up)0 -
Just check before you do buy some of those TV dongles are very expensive and standard dongles don't work on many brands .

If your TV is near the router you could use an ethernet cable, assuming your TV has a socket for one, it'll give far better reliability.0
