Hi i was just wondering if anyone else has bought fake perfume from this site. i have used it for many yearz with no problem until last year i bought a couple of bottles that didnt smell quite right they looked real but something told me something was wrong the smell didnt last either. since ghen my friend just bought me some gucci guilty intense and bvlgari omnia and these are the same they smell very similar infact its only because i use them a lot that i can tell there is something wrong with them . the batch numbers check out as real but they could be copied. but the packaging is really cheap floppy cardboard and because they are wrspped in cellophane u dont realise until u open it that this is thd case they put cardboard insidd to make the box sturdier as with out it the perfume falls out of the bottom. i contacted them snd theh aid its genuine. i am wondering if because theh are such good fakes that even cheapsmells are unawre they are fakes. thankux lms

The perfumes may be counterfeit or it may be that the quality of the genuine product has changed. The only way to know for sure is to get the manufacturer to look at the items you purchased and confirm if they are genuine or not. If you call trading standards to complain they may be able to get it checked out for you (or indeed they may be aware of an issue with this trader if others have complained in the past).Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

Ive been buying from them for years without problems. Remember though, some perfume manufacturers do change their formulations from time to time, because of changes to ingredient regulations etc. I know the Guerlain Mitsouko I buy now, bears absolutely no resemblance to the Mitsouko I was wearing back in 1979! They also change formulations to suit modern tastes; perfumes popular 20-30 years ago wouldn't sell well now, as they were very much of the era. Real ambergris and oakmoss have been replaced with synthetics which give perfumes a harsher smell. I suppose the quality of packaging changes too. Could made for export batches of a fragrance be packaged in lighter, cheaper materials?? Possibly.0

Only the manufacturer can tell you for sure if you've been sold fakes or not. If you have, then they'll certainly do all the investigations necessary and prosecutions as appropriate - their brand name is pretty much their only premium for most daily use perfumes. Contact the brand owners via their websites, ask if they can verify the purchases for you.
If nothing else, it'll show them that punters do notice when they skimp on ingredients (which they do do!)0
