Fake ebay emails

Hi.
I keep getting emails claiming to from ebay and was wondering if anyone else was getting them too and, if so, what you do about them?
They are coming from members@e-Bay.co.uk and most are clearly fake with very little detail on and they go to my spam/junk folder. However, I did have one that was very convincing and I think that did go to my Inbox. I'm sure the email address has changed since I first started getting them though.
The names on these emails vary, but they are all ebay members. To start with the item numbers were ones that no longer existed, but now all the item numbers are real items and at least some of them do match up with the sellers name used.
The subjects are always "New Message Received from eBay Member about your item #(item number here)" or "eBay New Unpaid Item Message from (member name here): #(item number here)-- response required" and sometimes "Unpaid item case opened" which has the email address member@ebay.co.uk.
I've been forwarding them all to spoof@ebay.co.uk as well as flagging the emails as phishing scams. I also chatted with ebay through their live chat, but all they said was to forward them to the email address above.
I have reported 20 of these emails since April this year and I still keep getting them, plus there are some I didn't report. I'm really fed up of them. Is there anyway to stop them all or anything else I can do to get ebay to stop them?
Anyone else got this problem?
Thanks.

I get paypal ones daily and also ones for all the major banks ect except the one i do use.0

Yeah, a while back I got a few claiming to be from the banks.
Normally the email address are clearly not right, nevermind the content. But some of these ebay ones aren't. They're basically an exact copy of an ebay email with real items and members and even showing the correct ebay email address. They even warn of spoof emails at that bottom like the proper emails.
Is there any way of stopping them?0 -
Email addys can be spoofed easily enough.
Theres no way to stop them as far as i know, just never click on links in an email and always go to the site they claim to be from through your browaer to log in if you are unsure in any way.0 -

I know
I never do and I can always tell if they're fake. Some are far more official looking than others though and I'm sure there are plenty of people who don't realise and click the links. Ebay don't seem to care about it though.0 -
All ebay can do is go direct to the host of whatever server the emails are coming from to get the page closed down but as fast as they close one another 2 spring up, its neverending tbh.Flyonthewall wrote: »I know

I know it's not that simple, but I get the feeling that they're not even trying to stop them and I'm just fed up of getting so many emails.0 -

I don't think these have anything to do with eBay or PayPal though. I get them across several accounts that have never ever been used for any eBay or PayPal interaction.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
