...And then this morning, 8 days after I sent off the signed application, I received in the mail a fat envelope containing Gold Card Insurance Terms & Conditions, Gold Card - Additional Information and Key Facts About Our Insurance Services (I didn't ask for any insurance cover) together with a letter saying "Thank you for applying for an Ulster Bank -- etc etc -- We are processing your appli & will be intouch a s a p. If your application is successful pls remember - etc etc"
I'm a pessimist by nature (see my signature hereunder!) but if they're NOT going to accept me in the end, what a WOFTAM to send out this guff in the meantime!
Talk about long-winded...Expect the worst & hope for the best...0 -
Well, it would SEEM as if I've been accepted -- though I've not been told officially -- because my PIN no. arrived in the mail today... [and will be almost immediately shredded]. I've no idea what my c/limit is going to be. I could ring up & ask but i can't be bothered; I'll wait till the card arrives [unless, of course, it's like the FirstDirect card which STILL didn't state what my c/l was, even when the card arrived. I had to ring up & ask!] Oh, the excitement & anticipation...Expect the worst & hope for the best...0
