tax credits payments

Hi there

I have recieved information saying that i am entitled to 4132 that hasnt yet been paid to me.
was just wondering if anyone knows approx when these payments are made

Is it from last tax year or this? If it's an underpayment from last year they usually pay a lump sum, and it's normal to get the payment before you get the letter!

Is it on an award notice? That usually tells you exactly when they'll pay it, usually an amount every week or 4-weeks.

If it's not an award notice what is it?

it says how much ive received and how much ive still to receive.

Is that it? Sounds like they've missed some pages, does it say (eg) page 1 of 8 at the bottom and you've only got 4 pages?

Look on the back page and you should see right at the bottom an amount due to be paid on x date followed by y every 4 weeks and that will make up the lump sum that is due to be paid. No need to ring them if that information is there.

It sounds as though it's the amount that you will be paid weekly over the next year until 5th April 2014.

same as above, it means that is what left to pay you till April 2014, not a over payment,
so will be that amount divided between how many weeks left till APR 2014, so will just be your normal weekly/ monthly payments
