Gabrielle is a girl's name so you could have used it for one of your three. Kail???0 -

as for girls, if I was to have another daughter she would probably be called Greta or mayne Izanne
If Fynn, Pel,Kes,Kai and Izanne are your idea of names that aren't weird, I'd hate to see the ones you think are!!! Most of them are just a random collection of letters!0 -

There was a teacher at school who called Mrs Mee who allegedly had a son called Euan.
There are 'allegedly' twin boys in Dundee called Douglas & Angus, which is the full title of one of the rougher housing estates in Dundee:rotfl:
Douglas is also good for a boy who has no canine pets.;)
Sorry- don't mean to make fun of this, it is a serious business, and something that has life changing or enhancing qualities- given the wrong name or one with many spellings can be a burden.
(Can you tell I dislike having a first AND middle name that can be spelled a number of different ways, and that there were four of us with the same first name in my registration class in high school- also my maiden name rhymed with beans, so had everything linked to Heinz as a nickname all the way through school:o )Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

well i have a girl who's called poppy and my sister has 2 girls called daisy and lilly ... there all flowers. its lovely .
poppy got her name after a poor donkey on the beach in greece when i was pregnant . my son called the donkey poppy and took her apples every day and preceded to tell every one his baby sister was going to to called poppy.
we actually called her megan for the first week but had to change it when her big brother got really upset over this and after a family vote she ended up poppy.
so my girl got named after a donkey
daisy is after a great granny and lilly just followed suit ....Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0 -
It's also a good idea, if you name your child after something else (eg jewel, flower, town), to check the spelling of it first!!0

Oh I love babies.
I've got to say my favorite name for a little boy is Leo. So cute (and sexy for when they get older)The Bloodlust Clique - Member #17 - blood, blood, glorious blood...nothing quite like a rare steak full of bloodYou may have to fight a battle more than once to win it. :wall:0 -
We named our son George. Hubby thinks it's because of his family tradition of naming every other generation of 1st born sons George since the year dot (or about 1600 and something anyway) but actually it's becuase he's named after George Michael & I've been saying since I was about 7 that I would name my son after him! I got away with having Michael as a middle name as it's after my dad but hubby insisted in having something in between so he's George Henry Michael, Henry was just something neutral from neither side of the family which we both liked although we also considered Samuel. It also worked out that we had him baptized on St Georges day. Good thing we didn't have a girl, hubby & I couldn't agree on anything so defaulted to Georgina! If I ever had any more I like Noah, Daniel or Zachery....must be my religious upbringing comming out in me! Girls names are still a no-go zone! To be safe, we aren't having any more:rolleyes:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
