Cashback reliability on utility switch

I am intending to switch to Scottish Power. Martin's energy club offer £80 cashback but another cashback site offers £55.
Is the cashback from the Energy Club reliable?
I have always found the other cashback site very reliable for Utility switching cashbacks and don't want to "gamble" on getting the extra £25!

Like Martin says, you can only guarantee receiving cashback (from a third party site) once it's hit your bank account.

Cashback from the supplier (where offered) is usually a bit more reliable. Keep copies of any evidence as it may be required later

Btw, you do realise that that £15/£30 cashback via the Cheap Energy Club actually comes from moneysupermarket.com, one of the handful of comparison sites that offer cashback via MSE (not to mention the owners of MSE now )
