You'll have to leave them: it's a criminal offense to disturb birds on the nest. They'll fledge and be gone in a few weeks anyway. Enjoy the thought that you've done your bit for nature!

We had a birds nest on the chimney and we had to move it cause we have a gas fire and the whole house is controlled by it (back boiler in fireplace)......they still come back every year...what a racket...big massive seagulls!! When you go to the car they attack you!!

wow, lucky you, i'm dead jealous. The advice on the RSPB website is to leave them alone, enjoy watching them grow.

It was the local bird guy that told us to move it so when we were getting the roof done the guy moved the nest to the roof instead.....never made any difference to them at all..they didn't even attack the bloke...they just attacked us for some reason and its the same EVERY year....not sure why they choose my house as it is a terraced house???????
When we are in the living room it sounds like you are at a beach with them squawking down the chimney...it used to freak the kids out cause it was so loud but now they are used to it!!:rotfl:

Actually come to think of it we have a leak in the roof (again) so the next guy to go up there can chuck the nest away...cause the birds use the same one every year??? Thought they made new ones:confused:

Edited to say the birds aren't there anymore..wouldn't chuck the nest with them still there. xx
