Can you guys settle an argument? You know if you buy something on a credit card, and it's not fit for purpose, you can lodge a claim against the credit company? My husband reckons of you take cash out on the card, and use it to purchase something that then fails you are also covered...is he correct???
Debt-free...and staying that way...

No.
There is now way of proving the link. There is no obligation on the issuing bank to cover whatever you do with cash.0 -
If you pay by cash then you aren't paying by card, regardless of where the cash came from.0
