loughborough BS mailing to R/Savers+

loughborough BS appear to have mailed out to all their regular saver+ savers ith covering letter titled "great news-improved savings rates" even though the regular saver + rate has not changed, what a waste of money :rolleyes:

from now on loughborough BS will have to mirror all base rate changes on its reg/saver + account in view of the 2.50% gross above base rate guarantee till end of march 2009

I guess their software cannot differentiate customers who have this account. But it is a waste and a tad upsetting ... when I received the letter, my first thought was that they had upped the rate ... my next thought was disappointment! :-(

snap and my third thought was what a waste of money sending letters out to savers whos rate hadnt increased, my 3 thoughts were in that order :rotfl:
