  • Hi fifi35 .... alot of people i know order "designer" clothes from mandmdirect http://www.mandmdirect.com/ProductList.asp or if you live in the northwest cheshire oaks designer villiage has a timberland shop and they "sometimes" stock boots.

The highstreet store, Slaters menswear also stock designer clothes at discounted prices

I thought the poster was asking if anyone had seen the boots and shoes that she is going to buy cheaper than she had!!! I dont think she was asking for advice on whether or not she should buy them.

I would agree with merlinormartin try mandmdirect they usually do k swiss trainers at a reasonable price and they also do timberland shoes and boots.

Thanks to all those that answered my query without being judgemental! I appreciate it. Your right I didn't post asking for advice on how to raise my son.
    Thanks Fifi

My 12 year old ds is size 10 and it is not easy getting shoes for school or trainers that are not mans size width, so I understand some of the issues you have.
K swiss trainers are a great fit and available through some TK max stores ( never visited them until I found out Kswiss were 1/2 price there). That was our compromise. He could have the brand he wanted but at the price I was prepared to pay.
We have used mandmdirect too, not always got the sizes though. boo hoo.
    Good luck

Apparently a lot of schools don't allow designer clothes to be worn in school(including shoes)

Which is a good policy. Also my sons school specifies black shoes not trainers.

Good for them, it should be a national policy, this would put a stop to all of this so called " designer " nonsense in schools, once and for all.
