Natural World’ has visited practically every corner of the planet and chronicled landmarks in science, exploration and conservation
This award-winning series celebrates the many wonders of nature with dramatic wildlife stories from around the globe.
Conceived by Sir David Attenborough when he was head of BBC2 in 1967, the series is still immensely popular today with an all time average of 2.8million viewers. Originally called The World About Us, the series was given its current title in 1983. Not only has the show introduced us to animal behavioural patterns for the first time, it has contributed to the success and popularity of the wildlife genre.
