working tax credit - so confused

After just starting a new job i was looking into working tax credit as a single person with no children. When doing it online it says i am entitled to something but when i called them up i was told i earn just over the guideline amount (i earn £12,300). I am also classed as disabled as well (if that helps or not).
When i called the guy just asked me did i have any children and how much i earn and said i was entitled to nothing, but im confused as the website calculator says different?
Sorry this is really confusing for me.

Just ignore their entitlement check and tell them to send you a claim form anyway.
Don't wait too long though as you are missing out on money the longer you leave it.
