Why would you need the receipt? Don't Tesco's only sell their own brand of clothing anyway? Even if not I wouldn't be stressing, I'd just go back & ask them to take it off.

Evidence to show the item was paid for and not stolen.

OP, ask if they can look back at CCTV records, give a date/time and it should be fine. Otherwise your looking at trying to remember which assistant you paid and hoping they remember you buying the item.

Have you tried getting it off yourself Ive had this happen and managed to get them off okay unless its the ones with the dye then dont bother.
