'Any driver' car insurance

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of any insurers that have 'any driver' or 'open driving' options, where the car is insured for any driver rather than named drivers? I have children (in their 20's) who need to use the car but obviously at their age this will inflate the cost quite a lot, which is a pain as they probably won't use the car regularly enough to make it worth adding them as named drivers.
I've asked around and Aviva offers it, but only with restrictions (must be 25 or over, can't drive the car more regularly than 1-2 times a month). Has anyone had any experience with this type of policy, and does it hugely inflate the premium to insure this way compared to just naming them?
Thanks

The premium would need to reflect that 18 year olds will probably be driving.0

Adding named drivers is MUCH cheaper than having an open policy.
But even some medium sized business insurance policies started to stated all drivers had to be named and could not drive until a copy of their licence had been supplied.
Whether that was standard across the board or the result of my company cutting costs i don't know.
But each year more rules applied. No longer covered staff cars used for errands, Named drivers etc etc..Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Certainly in most cases this is true but there can be some exceptions.
With my car I can get an IoD policy from Admiral group for around £750 but my next cheapest policy is around £1,400 for high street providers. I have however been quoted by a broker for a HNW motor policy for £1500 which is Any Driver, like for like replacement, Comp cover on Driving Other Cars etc.
Compared to my cheapest it is obviously a high premium to be paying but compared to my second cheapest then £100 could easily be seen as a reasonable price for the additional features.0 -

May I ask which broker that was? Could be a good starting point if I end up choosing the any driver route - that would also insure my husband for when he uses the car once in a blue moon.0 -
Did the any driver policy have an over 25's clause?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

It isnt relevant to me and so didn't ask the question but a quick look at the standard policy wording and I cannot see anything about an age restriction.0 -
Chubb policy and car must be worth minimum of £30k new? Probably cheaper for your children to hire vehicles if only for occasional use.0
