husband put my name on bill after i moved out! advice?

Hi im hoping for some advice. i seperated from my husband a few months ago and i moved out. we had not chanhed electric bill into our names at this stage. i told him i would pay half the bill for the period of time i was there once he rwgistered. however, he has put the bill on both pur names even thoigh i dont live there and has asked mebto pay it all, even the electric he has used aftwr i moved out. how can he put the bill in joint names without mu permission when i dont even live there? im willing to pay half for when i was there bur i want my name off the bill.....what can i do?

Contact electricity company and tell them you moved out on xxx date(with meter reading if you have it) and are not responsible for any consumption from that date.0

When you phone them expect to have ot provide proof of moving out and where you live now. If you still have bank statements etc sent to old address they may reject that you have moved out.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
