Drip irrigation system

I'm thinking about getting a drip irrigation system with a timer for our patio pots. They are all veg and we have a holiday booked in mid august - I really don't want my tomatoes and cucumbers to go thirsty. Our neighbour does come round to water things but she isn't a gardener so doesn't really know how much they need when it's really hot and I always come back to them wilting. Also it would save me all that time watering!

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a brand they've used either for the drip system or the timer? Thanks!

We are a bit low tech in the fact that we have a cheap paddling pool, not inflatable, I place it in a shady spot fill it with about 2" of water and place all of my pots into it, any remaining pots I put in to an assortment of old washing up bowls, plastic trugs and anything else which will hold water. Then when the neighbour comes in to water as long as there is still water in the bottom of the containers she doesn't need to use the hosepipe if they are dry she tops up. This year we are going away for a weekend and my greenhouse on the allotment will need watering so I have drilled a tiny hole into the lid of a plastic water bottle and a hole in the other end to stop an airlock and by pushing a nail into the hole in the bottle lid I can let the water drip out over about 24 hours, I will need a few of these and maybe some bigger containers to last the entire weekend.
