    I was hoping some comments would come from people that have or had the same options and what they did do, obviously not, all I have had is about selling it on, taking out loans,why buy a BMW anyway, better off with a Focus..really they are run of the mill cars believe me,i had one.. I was quoted £2,000 less for a Titanium in 2011 than this BMW when the guy from Ford rang me to ask if I had made a decision I told him I could get a BMW same year etc..his answer go for it as the Fords will not go on forever like the BMW's etc.. All I have had thrown at me are figures about what I am spending, what it's going to cost me, would be cheaper to take taxi's! Life is not just about counting every penny, nobody on here it seems has had a good car on PCP so their opinions are not of any use....basically I don't want a second hand car, had those before, and BMW, Audi Mercs, all ask the earth for a second hand car with very high mileage...and they sell them,that in a nutshell is a no brainer to me to give up this car just to buy another second hand:eek:

    Everyone has been good enough to take the time to cover off the pros and cons of the options you have, so i'm not sure what else you were expecting?

    I've had various cars on PCP, in fact my wife has a new z4 on a PCP deal over four years. Loves it. Will probably PCP another next time.

    You pays your money, you makes your choice really.

    I'm not quite sure what some comments on this topic are actually on about??! How on earth will I walk away with nothing? Either I have not explained myself or others are reading into something else? I initially was going to pay cash for this new car in 2011, instead I opted for a PCP deal, deposit and monthly payments of £360 over 36 months, with a £10,000 payment at the end, or hand the car back and pay nothing ( who would do that anyway )

    You have signed up for a PCP and don't have a clear idea of how it works.

    If you get to the 3 year point and the car is only worth say, £7000 or £8,000, would you;

    a) Buy it for £10,000 (in fact, there's a chance that the GMFV is actually £10,500, £10,800 etc. - this is often talked down at point of sale!)

    or

    b) Walk away with nothing and start again

    Hopefully this has answered your question.
    And that my son, is how to waft a towel!
