Balance transfer

Hello,
In 3 month time I'd like to transfer about £2000 balance from my Natwest card to my Virgin card. I've used the Virgin card for this purpose earlier, too. At the moment its balance is 0. What would be better for the successful transfer acceptance:
- Should I use it for some purcheses or any transactions until then
or
- Leave it on 0?

Your BT will be accepted either way (assuming you have the credit limit).
But are you asking about trying to be offered a 0% deal?0 -
Virgin MBNA do generally offer 0% balance transfers regularly. Check your account to see if you have any offers.
In my personal experience if you use the card a few times you tend to get more offers from them.
In any case I'm sure they will accept accept a balance transfer from you but I don't know what rate.
You could also consider a new card.0 -
Yes, I'd like an offer at least for 6 month 0% interest. Obviously I'll pay the transfer fee. I should be ok, shouldn't I?0
