Im a bit confused, All I want to know is, is it possible to claim PPI on a mortgage that was paid off in full 8 years ago???? The mortgage company did say that if I dont take the ppi i wouldnt get the mortgage, and the mortgage was paid off after 2 years of taking the mortgage out.

    It is still possible to complain but it is also possible that the documentation no longer exists as many firms will destroy documents 6 years after accounts or products cease.
    The mortgage company did say that if I dont take the ppi i wouldnt get the mortgage, and the mortgage was paid off after 2 years of taking the mortgage out.

    Make your complaint then supplying your evidence of that allegation and any other reasons you feel it was mis-sold.
