Help Needed Urgently Plz

Me and my wife bought our house just over 4 months ago but we were never told we need to take out any life insurance. Recently after talking to various people i have realised this is a must and i must be a fool to not have any cover at all.

Can someone please advise me whats the best companies to go for and what type of cover we would need. I have tried cavendish but hey have been really unhelpfull.

Our mortgage is a repayment morgate over 25 years.
we are both aged 27 working full time but recently my wife has not been in the best of health.

Any help would be really apreciated.

We cannot do that. It varies from individual to individual depending on price and what extra features they want (most look at price and ignore features unless there are some which are similar pricing).

They are execution only which means you have to tell them what you want. That is not being unhelpful but acting within the rules of execution only.

If you need advice and one of you isnt in the best of health, it is worth getting an IFA to see you as they are whole of market and they can check with underwriters to see which companies will look upon your wife more favourably.

    Check what your employers offer.
Some employers provide you with 4 x salary automatically.
Definitely check this out with your staff handbook or HR department before buying.

You may have life cover if you have a pension, check the details.
