The Visa one is okay though? My Halifax is Mastercard but that shouldn't matter.
It will matter, the VISA and Mastercard rates are different, not much but they are different. They set the rates at different times of day so sometimes one is the better than the other, but MasterCard seem to have better rates on average. Particularly outside Europe.

Think you've confused the lack of a forex loading with the exchange rate.

Having two MasterCards, such as the Clarity and a NatWest YourPoints, for example, will both use the same exchange rate, but NatWest will charge you 2.75% for the privilege.

Having two cards with no loading, such as the Clarity (MC) and Santander Zero (Visa), could still result in a different end charge, as MC/Visa use different rates.

However, the difference will be so minimal that it doesn't matter, and Visa/MC, without the loading, will give you a better rate than the high street.
