People don't like change, they also don't like change being forced down their throats. The changes they implemented were for the better and we will all go that way in the future anyway. It was the way they went around forcing us into it. If it had been a gentle transition we'd have all been fine. Fact of the matter is, we're now going to miss out on great features because everyone was up in arms with the DRM.Knowledge is a tool, and like all tools, its impact is in the hands of the user.0

Well, if i bought a games console and it was made so i could not play it offline if my internet failed, then i would class the console a load of expensive junk. Best thing they did was "listen" instead of trying to tell everyone whats good for them like it or not.
Microsoft is a greedy company, they can dress this game checking thing up all they want but the reality is, they wanted a enormous slice of the used games sales market and thought nothing of all the job cuts it would create and small game businesses going bust, all they saw was £££££'s
I will be going to PS4 when its dropped in price.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -
I was really looking forward to installing a game then safely storing the disc away. I don't sell or buy pre-owned so it wouldn't really make any difference to me. I understand the issues of forcing always online though so I can see why it may not be a good idea.
Of course I can just buy the games on demand and get to have them installed without the need for the disc and still play them offline so that may be the best option.0 -
I have already changed to the PC and steam games.
With the recent sale I have bought some of those that I play on the xbox cheaply so I can get practiced at using the keyboard/mouse0
