Have received a reply from Opinium, as follows

"Thanks for your email. The site is currently undergoing maintenance so there's been some issues with accessing surveys and accounts. We apologise for this delay and appreciate your patience as we work through this as quickly as possible. While we cannot give you an exact time frame for when the site will be working again, we are able to help you check balances and redeem points upon request."
  • Despite their site being down, I've been completing surveys for other sites that are using the Opinium name/survey, ie they are directing me to an Opinium survey.

Same here, I have completed several of their surveys recently and my balance total should now be almost £25.

It seems strange for them to be offline for so long.

They just offered me my first survey, £1 for 20 minutes. I don't know if it actually would have taken 20 minutes but at a rate of £3 an hour, I am not really prepared to even bother confirming.
  • I have just closed my Opinium account. You now have to give your bank details to something called tipita but it would not accept the codes it sent me or my bank details and i got too worried and stopped it. I had to accept a voucher instead but it doesnt tell you which voucher - seems you cannot choose - or how they send it to you. No help from their 'support' line so closed it. Also ignored emails when i completed a survey but was not awarded the points and many surveys you cannot even access - it goes straight to the homepage. Confusing and unhelpful company -there are much better ones out there.
