Mainly use rightmove but it does not list farms/smallholdings, only land and commercial property.
What sites are good to use to find smallholdings?

Also chat up your independent local estate agent.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Any more posts you want to make on something you obviously know very little about?"
Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.0 -
Smallholdings often go to auction, so look in the local paper in the area you want to buy and see what properties are coming up, or find out who the local auctioneers are and check their websites.
Also magazines like Country Life, Horse and Hound, Country Living etc, often have classified listings of property for sale.
Or just Google "Smallholding for sale".0 -
also ask your local council , may seem daft but many are selling farms and smallholdings at the moment with budgets being the way they are , as has been said above they will go to either tender or auction but you would get a head start in knowing what if anything is available0

If you are looking in Wales, where most of the affordable smallholdings are, all the 'normal' agents will feature them, and most will be on Rightmove, so that will be your main source, even if they don't have a smallholding category as such.
Then there's Rural Scene, already mentioned, and Profile Homes carry quite a few. They currently feature on Rightmove too.
There's one specialist agency in West Wales which doesn't Rightmove:

In the Westcountry, I'm not aware of any agency carrying smallholdings which doesn't Rightmove.
