Word on tablet please.

I am completely new to tablets and just learning trial and error.

Ive mastered facebook and emails and apps.

How do I get Word or something similar on it please.

I think you will need to download an app for word.

Check out your App Store.

Doesn't your tablet come with an office type of program installed already - such as OFFICE 365 ?
If not - as OMO says - simply download one from the app store....

Assuming its an Android tablet (not an Apple)..

The best free Android form of 'Office' I have found is this one

Handles most Microsoft Office format files.

Its actively being improved so make sure you check for updates to it regularly.

Thank you all, it is indeed an android and I am a complete newbie but getting to grips with it. I will have a go with them

No it didn't come with anything on it, I bought it 2nd hand so may have been taken off before I got it.

Wow, silly goose, brilliant, I went to google play, put in Kingsoft and within seconds it was installing it. Brilliant, you have made an old lady very happy.....:D

Google Drive does all the Office-y stuff I need on Android, and syncs to the cloud. Try it out before spending money...
