daughter has deleted the browser from her netbook...
tried doing a windows update and keep getting a 9c48 error
I believe that IE10 has been downloaded but can find it and nothing in the files / programs
how can i recover this, and possibly do something to prevent her doing it again?

If so, make a shortcut.0 -

How do I get it onto the task bar0 -
Other options:
Click the Start button , click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off. See what is listed there. If on, try switching it off, reboot and then on again.
If off, then switch it on.
Otherwise, SFC0 -

Make a short cut. Once you open it and it appears in the Start programs you can probably pin it from there.
Edit: You can right click on the application and choose from there.0
