does anyone know if you can transfer a balance from your wifes card to a card in husbands name

yes mate you can as long as its not the same card issuer0

Yes. Bear in mind that:
1) They might take extra security precautions - eg phoning you back to confirm.
2) Legal liability for the debt moves with the balance.0 -
Usually but not always. For example, Santander specifically states that only balances in the name of the main cardholder can be transferred.
So check the offer terms carefully.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
