At least at POPLA stage follow our advice on that appeal and you should still win. Do not write a normal appeal yourself, mitigation and normal excuses are likely to lose whereas our POPLA appeals win.
So how do I go about writing a non normal appeal, id be really greatfull for any help as im pretty usless at that kinda thing.0 -
Remember that when you get to the POPLA stage in addition to the standard appeal points, you major one is that their equipment is faulty and not fit for purpose. It does not cater for anyone who pays the legitimate amount to park over a split period.
It calculates the lower charge period at the higher charge rate and, therefore, fails to supply you with the correct amount of parking time at the relevant rates. It is unreasonable to expect motorists who wish to park for an allowed period to return at the point where the rate changes0 -

Well today i have news from PE, and you wont believe it but as they letter says a gesture of good will they have cancelled my parking charge! :T:beer:0

They read this forum and your title and first post gave enough details to ID you. I reckon they've cancelled it as they knew you'd end up with one of 'our' POPLA appeals!
