Comet vouchers - am I entitled?

I recently took out two mobile phone contracts for my teenagers as I found a good deal woth a company I have two othedr contracts with. It was a great deal and when I rang up the guy said that with each contract I was entitled to £25 worth of Comet vouchers, great says me (mentally spending them) then a few days later I received a letter stating that it had come to their attention that somthing that wasn't relevant to my deal may have been mentioned when speaking to the sales assistant and that I should refer back to the items list that came with the phones - of course the vouchers weren't on the items lists that came with the phones so I rang them up and after much arguing the sales assistant rang me back and said that as they had sent the letter out promptly 'clearly' stating that the vouchers were a mistake they weren't going to honour it - how they can say 'clearly' when they basically said that someone might have said something about something that you weren't really entitled to, and didn't actually mention the vouchers at all in the letter, anyway, as I see it, i took out two contracts based upon the details the sales assistant gave me - which included the vouchers, so as far as I'm concerned they were part of the verbal contract we entered into. What are my rights, does anyone know?

Did you know about the vouchers before ordering, i mean was it because of the vouchers that you ordered OR where you unaware of the vouchers until the sales person told you?

I didn't know about the vouchers until I rang the sales team - but obviously they were a Brucey bonus when he told me about them and i have been mentally spending them ever since LOL

you should have a 14 day cooling off period. If your still in that, get in contact with them and say you want to cancel the contracts, Im sure that will make them "offer you" something to stay with them.
