TV Aerial Installation

Morning
the house we are buying has no TV aerial , so will have to arrange an installation for when we move in , i have never had this sort of work carried out before , so was wondering a rough idea of cost ?
It is a 3 bed end of terrace , nothing out of the ordinary about it , we would like a TV point in 3 rooms and obviously an Aerial on the roof
What sort of questions should i ask , how for example would they route the cable as i know its not ideal to have it lying over roof tiles etc , and how will they `create` the TV points in the house so it looks `nice` ?
Any advice welcome!

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

We have no roof Aries and had a quote for £160 for the arial and points in 5 rooms. The best think to do is wait till you are in there then get a couple of arial installers to come out.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

You can find plenty of useful information and advice about installing aerials on this website:
http://www.aerialsandtv.com/
Depending on the area you live in and the signal strength from the transmitter, you may or may not require an amplifier to distribute to 3 rooms.
If you do choose to have someone install the aerial, make sure they are CAI (Confederation of Aerial Industries) approved. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -

You don't necessarily need to put the aerial outside, ours is in our loft.
As for routing of cables there are a few options :
Outside is the easiest - clipped down walls to where ever needed.
Inside slightly more labour intensive depending if you want to have the cables hidden or not.
So again easiest option is pvc mini trunking - some of which can be quite smart now and can just run above skirtings.
Under floor - that would involve lifting floor boards etc and then just coming through where needed. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
