Ugly wall outside my kitchen window

My kitchen window overlooks my back garden. However, my back garden was landscaped by the previous owner and he had steps built leading up to a 4ft or so raised patio section, which I believe has been concreted over - and is covered with gravel. There is a small 2ft high wall which seems to support the patio area, including a short wall along the side of the fence that adjoins my neighbour's house.

The problem I have is the ugly wall that is about one foot from my kitchen window.

I would like to have the whole raised patio area removed and lawned over, but was quoted £3000 which is out my budget.

Any suggestions on other ways to remove/disguise the short wall outside my kitchen window?

Could clad it, paint it cover with something.

String some gardening wire up it, plant some honeysuckle to climb the wires. It'll cover it in a few months.

I have a similar problem and am thinking of ways to disguise it and am not sure if painting it would look any better tbh (well, that and I can't decide on colour).

The difference is most of my back garden is raised. The two foot high wall (bare block) is 30 foot long and 8 foot from kitchen,6 foot from dining room,so it sticks out like a sore thumb when looking out windows!

Also,on the side garden the unattached neighbours (semi),have built a 4-5 foot high breeze block wall between my side garden and theirs.I've bark chipped the side garden, put a little white metal fence around it,has solar lights and is where ds grows his fruit, veg and herbs in containers. It looks lovely apart from the bloody wall behind it and am not sure how to cover it!

Paint it, clad it, put up trellis, put pots of trailing plants on top of it, bamboo or split reed etc on a roll, ivy.......

If it's your wall you could masonry paint it and add trellis or you could put in say a low hedge (even lavender) and keep it trimmed so it just hides wall. Or you could start a collection of tin signs or metal wall art.
